Over 49 years of award winning service
As the UK’s leading Riley specialist, we cover all aspects of restoration, service, and repair alongside our parts department.
We established our workshop in 1974 to give Riley owners a place where they can get the specialist care their car needs.
Over the years, we have built, repaired, serviced and restored sports, saloon and touring cars, as well as racing specials, including the 1938/9 Peking to Paris 16hp car. We also have an extensive spares department offering parts for all Riley models from 1927-1939.

Understanding the complexities and idiosyncrasies of heritage vehicles is what makes our specialist mechanics stand apart. They see it as their duty to protect and preserve the groundbreaking engineering Riley became famous for and work sympathetically to recover and revive original features where possible and appropriate. They’re also impassioned about sharing their expertise with the next generation of engineers and work closely with our apprentices to make sure they are ready and able for the responsibility that lies ahead.

Our Bicester Heritage headquarters offers a test track facility so customers can drive home knowing their Riley is road ready. Rest assured; we care about your Riley as much as you do and will treat it with the respect it deserves.
The Southend workshop is our engine building and race prep facility, this includes an engine dyno to allow us to thoroughly test any work carried out. Our team at Southend have prepared cars that have won a number of the major historical race events, including Le Mans Classic (index of performance) Monaco Historique, VSCC Sprint and Hillclimb championship and the VSCC Speed Series.

We recently made the decision to move all of our parts down to our Southend workshop as we closed our body repair area. This is allowing us to expand our Bicester workshop facilities to increase the amount of in house services we can offer. This has also meant we can utilise the space better at Southend and we have many years of Riley experienced employees to aid development of the parts we can produce for both our own vehicles and the wider Riley population.
Brett has taken over running the parts department after being in the workshop with us for four years. He has worked on a variety of vehicles prior to joining Blue Diamond and has worked on a wide range of the Riley marque since being part of the team. Having helped develop and improve some of the parts we already produced it made sense to provide him with the opportunity to help the company move forward.
